Chief A. Gbolahan Ayodele has over forty-four years of experience, within and outside Nigeria, and over the course of his career, he has been involved in transformational engagements in the Oil and Gas Sector, Strategic Plan Development, Organization Design and Review, Financial and Accounting Management, Human Resources Management, Leadership Development and Advisory.
He is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gadgas Limited. He is also the Chairman of many reputable companies amongst which are: Lington & Bernie Consulting Limited, FAGOSI Systems Limited, Playmakers Entertainment Limited, Oroke Microfinance Bank Limited, Lington Educational Services Limited, Greenwood House School, Double “A” Nursery & Primary School and Akungba Development Union.
Under Chief Gbolahan Ayodele’s leadership, Gadgas Limited has provided Procurement Services as well as Maintenance of Equipment for the Oil and Gas Industry and the Power Sector.
Chief Gbolahan Ayodele started his professional career as an Audit Assistant with Arthur Young & Company, in New York, USA. He also worked as a Senior Internal Auditor with Penn Central Corporation in New York. In 1981, he returned to Nigeria and worked as the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of Ashland Oil (Nigeria) Company Unlimited. He was promoted to Head of Planning and Economics soon thereafter and subsequently to the Planning Manager. In 1992, he was seconded to Ashland Exploration Inc. in Houston, Texas, as the Senior Business Officer. He also worked as the Accounting Manager and thereafter became the Finance Manager of Ashland Oil. His last assignment at Ashland Oil was to co-manage Ashland Oil (Nigeria) Company Unlimited, during the interregnum before it was acquired by Addax Petroleum Development (Nigeria) Limited.
Chief Gbolahan Ayodele holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and Management from the New York University and a MBA degree in International Finance from George Washington University. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and a Fellow of the Association of Outsourcing Professionals of Nigeria.
Chief Gbolahan Ayodele is involved in many philanthropic activities. He is married to Mrs. Olusola Ayodele and they are blessed with children and grandchildren.
